The Rwanda Tourism and Hospitality Employees Trade Union is a national labor union established to represent and protect the rights of workers in Rwanda’s tourism and hospitality industry. Founded in 2011, the union advocates for fair wages, decent working conditions, job security, and social protection for employees in hotels, restaurants, bars, travel agencies, and other related sectors. As a member of national and international labor federations, RTHETU plays a vital role in promoting social dialogue, collective bargaining, and sustainable employment practices within one of Rwanda’s most dynamic economic sectors.
