The Rwanda Online Journalists Union (ROJU) is a non –profit organization of online journalists in Rwanda, dedicated to safeguarding their rights, advancing their profession, and promoting press freedom. ROJU advocates for journalists by addressing challenges such as social security and decent working conditions and professional development while fostering collaboration with national and international organizations, including media unions and associations.
ROJU’s primary objective is to create a platform that fosters collective efforts to address journalists’ challenges, support their professional growth, and ensure that online journalism remains a vital force in delivering accurate information, upholding press freedom, and serving the broader public interest.
